You're absolutely right. I didn't mind using Bing to search when there was no cooldown. They can know about me in exchange for store credit/ gift cards. Google already does and I don't get any points from them for it. But with the cooldown, it's extremely inconvenient to use them to search now.

Amazingly, I got support to look into why I can't redeem anything. I shouldn't have bothered, they just told me I got points in multiple markets. Something that's impossible, since I always play from home and don't have a VPN service. MICROSOFT REWARDS IS A COMPLETE SCAM.

Bing Rewards was a separate program that had some aspects of MSR (main one being points for searches). Xbox Live Rewards definitely existed (I have emails with that branding from 2014 to 2018); it was just separate and targeted at Xbox players as opposed to searchers.

Open Bing search and search for "define" and some random word, like "reward" Bing will return the word definition and clickable links to related synonyms. I joined Microsoft rewards a while ago, I think back when it was still bing rewards but I'm not postive. Anyway, I was wondering what is the best way to get points!
